Loss of a friend....

I know I've been slacking on updating and I wish it was under better circumstances. I found out today that my former boss and friend, Dave Smerchek, passed away. He had a heart attack while riding his bicycle this morning. Dave was the owner of Titan Trailers and gave me a chance when no one else would. I spent 5 years working for him developing a love for fabricating and welding and another 15 staying in touch with him through business and just in general. He was one of the few genuinely good people, took good care of his employees, was very involved in trying to help our dwindling rural community and would always take time to just shoot the shit if you ran into him. The world is lesser without him. R.I.P. Dave.
